yeah,u might be right, their engines look similar, probably heading to florida for delivery

It was an SD40-2 from Florida East Coast...look closely as it goes by and you can see 'FEC' on the cab. I do think they came secondhand from UP though. If I hadn't flubbed the pan midway through I would have had a more lingering view of it. I don't recall that it had any logos on it, just the FEC lettering.

Haha, look again FFV, 1st time says "my by" and 2nd time is "by my"!! I think it's one of those "brain things", where sometimes our brain sees things right (what we expect) when reading, even though it's not correct! That is why mistakes are SO hard to catch. Now I'm not sure if I was doing worse early or you are doing worse here late after work, LOL!! And see, if I had just not pointed it out we would ALL be better off now!! Except things like that really bug me.

Hmm...that's what I see there, maybe you caught it in time. I have to be careful not to read/respond to too much in the morning myself, or I'll wind up being late for work!

Too early for fingers to work right, tried to say (above): ...could tell by my car-counting cadence... Sorry.

Wow, awesome power and variety up front on this long train (approx 113 cars)!! He seemed to be picking up speed very gradually towards the end (could tell my by car-counting cadence, LOL!!).
