i only bot a 900$ dell inspiron 1525 notebook. no problems whatsoever. what are you trying to do to it? lol

My MacBook is two years old and has presented me with no problems at all. Its interface is intuitive, the performance fast, and the results far superior to what I got with my Dell. Considering that I spent over $1600.00 for the Dell and received no value, the Apple has been the best purchase, although its initial price was 25% higher (including extra software and an extended warranty).

That's odd, because my Dell Dimension 8400 was a lemon. Its hard drive failed three times, taking all my data with it. I was on the telephone many hours with a willing and capable customer service department who, despite their best efforts, could not fix the machine. Unreliable, prone to breakdown, and a complete waste of money.

sarcasm?hmmm. that's wierd. i've had over 200000 views from special effects i've made from my dell. plus, it's one of the finest brands on the market. macs, are unreliable. i just dont think i would be able to do all the things that i need to on it. All programs (besides the stupid iMovie thing) are compatible or come in a version that is compatible with pc, therefore pc can do virtually everything, especially when you've got a top of the line DELL
