MEET CANDACE Candace Renee Brown has been only dancing for only a short time, but has such a passion for it. She has experienced amazing things, and has been presented with great opportunities that have enhanced her as a dancer, and as a person. Candace first began her training in hip-hop at Bre Dance Studio in Riverside, Ca. After moving away from home to attend college at Cal State Fullerton, she was able to see that a whole world of dance existed outside of her hometown. She's trained in mostly hip-hop taking classes from top LA choreographers such as Jaffar Smith, Tessandra Chavez, Brian Friedman, Marty Kudelka and others. She has danced on Funkanometry LA, and currently dances with Team Boogiezone Breed, and is Assistant Director of Essence Dance Company. Candace has had the opportunity to dance in various shows such as "Carnival" in LA, Vibe, Body Rock, Traffic, Monster's of Hip Hop, and much more. Candace currently teaches hip-hop at Impact Dance Academy located in Azusa, Ca and enjoys the opportunity to share her passion for dance with her students. Candace has been greatly inspired by so many amazing and talented dancers that surround her everyday. In her journey with dance, she hopes to pass along that same inspiration to others.
