Nocturn is one of the only two 2007 sets to feature glow in the dark pieces, the other being Takadox. This guy has more glow in the dakr bits than Takadox, so therefore this guy can claim to be the most bioluminiscent set to date. Other than that, he boasts some new features such as four arms and some new pieces in Lime green colours. Some of the Inika pieces are in Lime green, which are great because these pieces do not break. The Lime Green which so infamously broke on sets like Hahli and Ehlek, doesn't break on Nocturn, which is a huge bonus. It isn't a PRO though, because pieces shouldn't break to begin with.He has one of Kalmah's tentacles as one of his weapons, in a silvery colour. It isn't as flexible as you'd think, but it is still pretty bendable. The squid launcher is in his other hand, but to be honest Nocturn could have been better off with two tentacles rather than the squid launcher. The squid launcher CAN fire, but you need to put more action in snapping it with your wrist than using it like a sling shot. You actually have to put some force in it yourself, rather than letting the elasticy of the squid do it. Admittedly the demo videos are a bit rubbish at showing it, but the launchers don't deserve as much dislike as they are getting.His other weapons are Lewa's air Katanas, which to be honest is disappointing to see on such a big set, who could have had new weapons introduced on him.His posability is awesome, with twenty points on articulation to play about with, and thanks to the stability of his legs he can get into a variety of poses relatively easily. With his large jaws (with an equally large underbite) he can look very menacing no matter what pose you put him in (unless you turn his head upside, as is demonstrated by my brother in the video). Nocturn is a very good set to play with, as he can adopt many many different poses.PROS Great PosabilityThe Colour scheme is just gorgeousThe Four arms add more weaponsHe glows in the dark!His legs are very stableCONSThe reusing of the Air KatanasThe Squid launcher isn't really neededI like Nocturn. He really looks like something that belongs underwater, and with his posability and stability, he is one of the better sets to leave the Lego Factories.9.75/10
