I agree with this statement completely. So disconnected from reality and distracted with electronic entertainment. I do not think the 40-48% is anywhere near accurate as well. These numbers are lies. The gap is actually much bigger, but look at history the last 2 elections were rigged. The television cannot be trusted, Orwell was a visionary.

Look at your candidates and look at gallup polls or other public opinion polls. The candidates's positions rarely reflect the positions of the public. Also, as far as democratic theory goes, look at works of Robert Dahl, Noam Chomsky, C. Wright Mills or Robert Putnam. The idea of the US being a democracy is fairly elementary thinking; your 7th grade civics class is not the definitive authority.

I perfectly read it. You justify the fact that you put criminals in power and them you are worried about the outcome hat was not great. Not the way to go because criminals are criminals and the image of United States is already fucked up since years with South America, Vietnam and now Iraq and Bin Laden. Do you want democracy, well show democracy not that you support dictators or use them or put them in power for your personal advantage

yeah the scape goat. Those people who do the jobs ... Americans will never do anymore because they are too shitty. Definitely the illegal immigration id "fundamental" in the recession. Strange you pay much less than normal people who work 16 hours (more than usual) a day jobs you will never do. Actually this brings down the costs. but i'm against illegal immigration because is wrong and because is exploitation of desperate people

I really have to record your last entence and show it around the world to my friends in South ASmerica and in Europe and see their reactions. You have no ideas how many friends I have who have parents, husbands and relatived desaparecidos in Chile, Argentina and Uruguay because of the "democratic choice called Pinoche'" the bloodiest dictator of the 20th century.

... easy to talk. If 9/11 shoched so much the Americans in a couple of hours just imagine the meaning of 5 years war in Iraq or the bombarment of London. It's like 1000 9/11 a month.

yeah I would have love to see the reaction of the US if it was attacked the way Iraq was .... pretty curious to see the faces of the people with someone imposing their will at home. Th fact is that Americans never saw a real war at home during the last 1.5 centuries. WWI and WW2 were not played in the US soil so people in this country have no clue of the meaning of destruction, starvation, epidemies, subjugation ...

Please gimme a break. Have you ever been in the Arab countries? I did several times. They are not rich but they have schools, Universities, transportations and they are not Darfur or Afghanistan especially Iraq. |
