So very, very cute! They all have their own wonderful individual personalities! Great job in taking such good care of all of them! Irena - Bird Lovers Only Rescue Service, Inc.

I watched and watched and could not see Niko. Then I laughed so hard I cried. That was one of the funniest videos I have ever seen.Like your other watcher, I too have four birds and have only seen one of mine ever do anything like this but under a laundry basket. Unlike Niko, she was so angry after that she had to give me a big bite to get even, before we made up. It's obvious you take good care of your babies, providing out time and entertainment. You are to be commended.

Oh, bobblehead Niko, how I love you! I also have four parrots -- three adopted, and one bought about 12 or so years ago when I was a stupid moron who didn't understand that you should NEVER BUY A PARROT. Only adopt. Got it, folks?! ;-) My grey took forever to get over being left by her previous owner. Those birds are like elephants. They never forget!

It's a daily challenge and you learn something new every day as you observe their changing behavior! So we are constantly adjusting and re-adjusting. But when they finally start coming out of the shells they retreated into after all the abuse and/or neglect, it makes it all worthwhile!

He is soooo adorable. That is just too cute!

You can really see he wants to get out and interact but seems unsure. One day he will just get out there and be a free and fearless bird! Bless you for your work with these beautiful creatures and your understanding of their needs. |
