I wish I would have seen your videos before I bought my nitro in April. So many things I missed or just did wrong. I give your series a perfect 10. I would like to compile into a DVD to give all my friends who run nitro to help us all.

ok thanks for your help you videos have been great help but i still have the feeling that even at 230 farenhite there will be still lot of smoke.
Squirrelod (October 1, 2008 at 9:04 pm)
Lean it out to where you have a thin trail of smoke at WOT. Every engine is different and requires a different temp range. This is why you should go off of visual cues over temp. Buggies should be around 230ish

I'm using a med plug w/20%. I watched your air leak vid and I think that may be a possible issue. I can hear a whisle when takes off, thought it was just my slipper. I'll try sealing my carb & backplate to see if that helps. Just need to get over to the auto store. |
