Here is a musical number from the classic Filipino motion picture "Giliw Ko" (LVN Films, 1939) that features Mila del Sol and the SSS trio singing "Buhay Artista".Mila del Sol plays Guia, a young farm girl obsessed with everything American and everything she sees in the American fashion and movie magazines.One day her senyorito Antonio (Ely Ramos) offers her a job as a singer in Manila and it's an offer just too good for her to pass up, much to the chagrine of her sweetheart, the simple farm boy Jose (Fernando Poe, Sr.).
