first of all its windows xp for both.then asus is n1 in quality and service.hp is known with their bad quality and ther screen dots after my last hp laptop i will never get another one then i tried the asus x52 and the eee 900 its strong and fast notebooks.Asus rock solid heart touching

lol, am gona tell you the same:Hey smart one! Have you watched the video till it's end & have you been looking good @ the HP, it has Windows XP installed :PStill EEE PC booted faster.HP sells their computers with Normal HDD, 3 models with 5400 RPM & 1 7200 RPM.ASUS EEE PC uses SSD (Solid State Drive) Which does not contain moving parts & it's much faster.BTW, if you put Linux, it'll boot much faster than Windows in general ;)

wow...by the time the HP starts up and is ready to use, you can already look up what you have to look up and turn off the Asus.

Hey smart one! The asus EEE has XP that is more lighter then the Vista that HP has.So u cant compare! Im sure if u put XP at HP it will go faster then Asus.!!!!!!!!!

agree. SSD is much better than classic Hard Drive ... its faster, quite and saves batteries so ... no reason for HP ... and via as cpu ? hmm, why not - for watches or mobile phone ...

and sad part is the HP is like 300 bucks more than the Asus EEE PC. SAD. You would think a big company like HP would sell it cheaper and better.
