This is a compressed air jet powered torpedo for the National Underwater Robotics Challenge. It is made of 1.5" ABS pipe, with a valve with a small orifice on the back (hole is about .05" diameter). Second try, it's daylight, and I balanced the torpedo a bit better, still slightly negatively buoyant though. Looks like I gave it a shove at the beginning, but that didn't help much. Running about 85 psi this time I think. Time to work on plan C.
