Thanks for your comments, phatchase. Yes, lots of buttons. Both the "301" and "302" cars are just beautiful. Not sure why but both times at public events (Public Works Day and Transit Body Shop opening day, it was the "302" car on display. Best time to see the car is when Mississauga Transit has it on show and not with the MissCorpSec knobs leaning against it. (Note, MissCorpSec and not the Transit Enforcement team -they're decent). One even said I should'a waited til they washed the car!

Hi again, havoc999998. Thanks for all the info. I actually have all the specs for the four Mississauga security Dodge Chargers through Freedom of Information. Just not access to them right now. I do know that the "302" car that day had the perch for the MDT but no computer. Considering "302" was on public display, it's no surprise that the computer would be removed. Just checked video of their "607" Impala from May 7, 2007 and yes, the Impala had a computer so surely the Chargers would.

A MDT is a abreviation for Mobile data terminal which is a in car laptop which alows you to keep in touch with the 911 dispatch office, Police station, and other law enforcement agencies. You can also look up criminal records and driver licences. If they want they can surf on sertain websites to find out info. All police cars have them now. |
