And more importantly, when Jones menaced to destroy Ark with an rpg (in the 1936!!), Belloq defeat his menaces with only words, a very rare trait indeed in a villain to obtain such major victory with only dialetics.

If you'll check the date of this video you'll see that it was added prior to the release of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, making it impossible for Spalko to be on it.Cairo Swordsman's position in top place was intended to be ironic. I didn't think anyone would take it seriously that he won. Toht was the real winner on the list, as I personally regard him as the funniest, evilest and most memorable villain. If I made a new list I would probably place Spalko round about 6th place.
