Yeah. It's rare footage, so even if you sent camera teams to Japan to take something similar, it would probably be impossible, since flex time and more trains have eased the crowded quite a bit. - LHS

very interesting coming from the originator of this video! were you compensated from the people you worked the agreement with?

Ah yes I saw the ad again today and indeed it was for Howstuffworks :)

[Try #5 - I keep attempting to post my reply, but it disappears...] If it was for "How Stuff Works", it's okay - they contacted me and we worked out an agreement. If it's for something else, could you contact me again if you notice what it was exactly? - LHS

I saw this video used in a TV commercial here in Canada... I'm not completely sure but I think it was an ad for a jobsearch website...

Actually, in hot weather, it's sometimes cold! Because then they use too much air conditioning and everyone is wearing thin clothing. In the winter is the hottest, with the air system off and everyone wearing warm clothes. - LHS

Yes, i'm from the UK. The shows called Richard and Judy. ^^ (Its still one of the top favourites.)It must be terrible in hot weather! I would worry about passing out! It must be very dangerous but I suppose if you're in a rush it has to be done!

It's not as bad now (see "Less Crowded in 2008", but still I have to become a sardine every morning on the way to work. BTW, which country and which program did you see that on? I gave single-use permission for a show in the UK to use it - a show called Somebody & Somebody (I can't remember the two names. Was it that one? - LHS

What country and channel did you see it on TV? I did give single-use permission for a show in the UK that shows Internet Videos once a week? Well, it's no fun being in one of those train, but it's the only way to get to work! - LHS |
