Yeah, interesting....a career out of covering other people's songs. Some critics just don't like that, others find value in it. I'm a little unsure myself. I think most of her covers are good. I think she could always rock; certainly had the vocal chops but sometimes her personality, if you will, was a little unsure of herself, tentative. When she was confident, she could "rock the blues" very well.

I completely agree. Linda is clearly one of best, most technically adept singers in the last 40 years. When you just speak of versatility...she's the best, even better than Streisand. It's just a shame that she had a career full of cover songs. I can't believe that no one wrote original music for such an amazing voice. Her covers will always remain fantastic, but she deserved some signature songs from her career.

Absolutely one of the best singers in the last 40 years and never really got the credit she deserves. Rock, opera, country she can sing it all and sing it with the best. I believe she's from Yuma. Thank you Arizona.
