I quit my iron too. I was backed up horribly. If you find a good substitute, let me know!

Well until recently i was 'forbidden' from doing any excersise because i was too underweight. However 3 weeks ago i reached a weight at which my dietition told me it was ok to do some "light low impact excersise". So at the moment i do about couple hours walking(nothing majour just around town and the woods etc) and about an hour of dance a week. So not as much as your already doing i wouldnt think!Kel x

That's a sign of your eating disorder. You should see that nutritionist right now. And you should consider running only 3 times a week.My doctors have forbidden me exercise while I don't stabilize my weight and I feel like shit but I will get over it. I lost 4 pounds this last week, can you believe that? Eating like 2 thousand calories a day.Hope you feel better.Love you Sarah. Keep on increasing your calories.xoxoFran

Hey.I have 1800 a day now (up from a time where i had just 80-100 a day) and at that i am only gaining 1lb a week at the most and i am stil anorexicly underweight despite having begun to eat well over a year ago! I dunno if that helps.Right i'm off to therapy. take care.

Hey hun, as far as cleaning the puke goes, try this: My dog has an uneasy stomach and when she pukes on the carpet we use a Bissell SpotLifter thing to clean it...kinda looks like a dirtdevil. It has a handle and is smaller like that (not an actual huge vacuum). You have to also buy the Bissell SpotLifter cleaner to go along with it, and follow directions. It tells you to mix part water and part Bissell solution. You use the sprayer on the machine to spray the area while you clean it :) Goodluck

That is very low! A normal hemoglobin is 12-15! Floredex is a really good natural Iron suplement, B12 also helps with absorption.I have my preganant cleints take a whole food brand called Megafood Blood Builder! Take care of yourself! I am runner too. I am running my 7th Marathon in the morning!

My doctor said that my iron count was 7. I dont know if that is the same as the hemoglobin count. Is it?

Anemia does suck! Do you know how low your hemoglobin count is? Just interested, as a med student :) Do you know there's runner's anemia too? though you have to run A LOT for that, yours is most def. from starving...there are many different types of iron supplements, herbal ones too, and check out foods with more iron, like beets...it sucks to feel so weak, I bet. You sound like you're doing well though, that's great! :) |
