All the teams interested have a chance. But whatever happens to Sundin now I don't care because it's been too long.

I agree that obviously he doesn't need the money and probably wants to join a contending team...Montreal is a great team right now but may raise angered eyebrows from T.O. so close by...I think that if he were to join Vancouver they could have a chance but their work is cut out for them...he could be the deciding factor there though...he's such a great leader and only a team leading with a guy like him stands a chance. We shall see...VCR is a beautiful place but is it worth it for him? not sure

also beermang2 if you dont know shit about hockey because 1.raycroft isnt a leaf anymore and 2. as for fuck toronto... the maple leafs is part of what made the nhl great and part of its great history... how bout fuck whoever u go for??
blaalbla (August 19, 2008 at 12:27 am)
il tell u why because all his career his number one goal has been to to help lead the leafs to their first cup in over 40 years and i think he will continue to try while he still ahs the chance because giving up on it will haunt him for the rest of his life even if he won it with some other team it wouldnt be the same for him as it would be if he did it with the leafs hed rather retire a maple leaf than win the cup with another team

screw all of you...youre disputing with eachother for nothing :P LOL you alll know the best place for sundin is in Montreal.. they are the real cup contenders, he would fit in perfectly with kovy and the kostitsyn brothers toronto and vancouver are nothing compared to the HABS!! and we got the best fckin player at the deadline .. George Laraques :P

Vancouver missed the playoffs last year. How is going to Vancouver any different from going back to Toronto? The Canucks are gonna suck even more this year since Naslund left. He has enough money. What he wants at 38 years old is a good chance to win the stanley cup with a contender team. Montreal is his best bet. The Habs finished first in the east last season and they are a young team that can only improve. If he decides to play this year, he's coming to Montreal.
beermang2 (August 8, 2008 at 3:48 pm)
k why would he go back to toronto??? toronto is gonna be even worse then they've sucked in the past, vancouver is a changed team, there gonna do good, why not have a fresh start....get the money...sundin has alot of buddies on the canucks..since half of the canucks team is from sweden, and british columbia in general is a beautiful place to live. the fans would love him......so fuck toronto....their best player is andrew raycroft..

Sundin wont go to Vancouver,he doesnt want the money,Canucks wont evan make the playoffs, might as well finish his career with Toronto. Now If he wants a chance to win the cup and get an acceptable amount of money he will sign with the Canadiens, they have a great team now I dont think he should retire. We will see |
