Yup yup. Like a pineapple. God must be one sick puppy if he designed something like that for us to eat. You need a blade to eat it, or else you'll end up stabbing the inside of your mouth.Or picking the same hole to breathe, talk and eat. Apparently God didn't consider chocking.

what about all the unintelligent design out there in nature, do the creationist credit God For that too. If you were really going to design some of this stuff you could come up with better ways of doing it. Sifi writers do it all the time.

I disagree. Design does indicate a designer. The fallacy is in think that the designer is a being, as opposed to a process, like chemical weathering, natural selection, or wind erosion.

Well, I guess the creationists strategy is to repeat their lies again and again till the other side gets tired to debunk them.Maybe they think they have the longer breath because they are trained to repeat the same words over and over again like their prayers for example.They try to bore us off the battlefield.

Whenever an ID advocate tells me that humans appear designed and therefore are designed I just reply by sarcastically saying "your parents never explained the birds and the bees to you, did they?". They usually don't get it though.

there is one problem: I.D proponents need to explain what it actually means to "appear to have been designed" before we can take time to actually refute it. there is no criteria by which we can declare that something appears to have been designed. |
