80079 on the Severn Valley Railway in March 1989.80079 is seen on 19th March at the site of Alveley sidings travelling towards Highley. This is the present day site of Country Park Halt. 80079 is then seen on 25th March accelerating away from Sterns towards Hampton Loade and on 26th March approaching the summit of Eardington Bank northwards. 80079 was withdrawn for overhaul shortly after the last clip and wasn't seen in steam again until 1993. 80079 then steamed regularly until 2002, before being withdrawn. It is now on display in the Engine House at Highley.
