the dynamics are kind of uneven and i sort of slosh through the bridge but it's not bad for a first attempt, i think. the vocals...well, you decide.

I might redo it because it's a bit too fast in this take. I'm also figuring out some SoCo songs but i don't know how smoothly i'll be able to do them. Youtube is full of talented pianists who play everything perfectly and by memory but alas, i am not one of them. i try to make up for it with my singing.

Yes, the macbook. In retrospect, i should have turned the lights up more in that it's kinda dark. At one point, i sort of am reading from music. i wrote out the chords from the bridge so i look up at them when i get there. i guess you can sorta tell. it was my safety net.

Nice one! It's good the mic didn't go all static on you. I'm assuming you used the macbook. I always had trouble with that when I use it to record for some reason. Are you reading from music?
