I like Philippines answer better bcoz I understand her unlike Tanzania. All of their answer sucks anyway. But Philippines and Tanzania answer were simply on but not great.

What she meant was not "how to plant trees" per se but to convey the importance of planting trees and make the African people more aware of preserving mother nature. Karla's answer was average it was a very rehearsed answer. Why she wanted Obama to introduce earth friendly subjects to the Philippines ? I am sure Philippines is in better position to draft their own school curriculums.

Yes! She nailed the pageant with that answer. I also agree with the runner up except the teaching the Africans how to plant trees part which is so easy to do. Even idiots knows how to plant trees.

Some say Karla won because it was a HOMETOWN DECISION but I don't believe it because you can see it in her answer and how she delivered it..
