SINOPSIS: Zac Hobson es un científico que al despertarse un día descubre que toda la humanidad ha desaparecido del planeta, dejando vacías casas, coches y ciudades. Su búsqueda por averiguar que ocurrió y por encontrar supervivientes inicia un viaje por la locura.COMENTARIO: Película de ciencia ficción dirigida en 1985 por Geoff Murphy, años antes de dirigir a Mick Jagger en "Freejack, Sin Identidad" (1992) y a Steven Seagal en "Alerta Máxima 2" (1995). Está basada en la novela de Craig Harrison, "La Tierra Quieta", publicada en 1981.TRIVIALIDADES: Aunque era la intención rodar escenas sin gentes ni animales, en la escena en que Zac está en la gasolinera puede apreciarse un pájaro volando y posándose en un poste de la luz; otra escena curiosa es la que ocurre cuando Zac camina por las calles llevando un saxofón: años atrás a él le habían robado uno, pero poco tiempo después el propio ladrón, arrepentido, se lo devolvió; el final de la película ha creado un debate sobre el paisaje al que Hobson llega, habiendo tres opiniones distintas: que viaja a otro planeta, a otra dimensión, o al Más Allá.SYNOPSIS: Zac Hobson is a scientist who behind to awake a day he discovers that all mankind has missed from the planet, leaving houses, cars and cities empties. His quest to know that happened and to find survivors starts a travel into the madness.COMMENT: Sci-fi movie directed in 1985 by Geoff Murphy, a few years before he directed Mick Jagger in "Freejack" (1992) and Steven Seagal in "Under Siege 2: Dark Territory" (1995).
