Motorcyclist beware. do NOT ride from theWest Drive (from 110th Street south to Central Park South & 7th Avenue) Weekdays: 8:00 am - 10:00 am this is an HOV Lane(High Occupancy Vehicle lane for 2 or more passengers) and even though federal law ALLOWS motorcycles in HOV lanes, NYC police still will ticket you. The AMA (American Motorcycle Association) is curently fighting this breach of Federal Law.Here are the traffic laws for Central Park:Park Drive Regulations WHEN ARE THE PARK DRIVES OPEN TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC?
