While Aerith and Cloud were fighting for the planet, they knew, that they had to save them, so they sent them into the univerese, where they can see now, what happens to Cloud and Aerith.Vincent gives himself the guilt for all that, because everything began with the death of Lucreatia, when he became Chaos. He wants Cloud to forgive him all that.While Aerith and Cloud are praying, they conflate with Gaia and also leave the planet, before it gets destroyed.PART IIIIn the end you can see, Aerith what shows that Cloud and she were reborn on another Planet.
