You're right. Olbermann just stacks his show with lefties from Air America, The Nation, Rolling Stone magazine and Media Matters then claims to be non-partisan, non-ideological (his famous quote is "I am not a liberal. I am an American"). And unfairly accuses people like Michael Medved of taking positions they never took in order to slam conservatives, and pretty much only conservatives.He shills for Obama and liberalism every bit as much as O'Reilly shills for McCain and conservatism.

Rich with irony.Um, Vin, it's "you're," a contraction of "you are," and hilariously, you spelled "idiot" wrong--look it up in an encyclopedia(yes, I'm kidding).Olbermann's sarcasm is meant to be funny, and that's why he has a job. Yes, he's biased, but he doesn't pretend not to be; O'Reilly pretends he's "fair and balanced."As Olbermann would say, "You sir, are an idiot."

one huge problem with this. O'Reilly claims to be an independent. Anyone realize that? O'Reilly says he is FAIR AND BALANCED. He does not admit to being a right-wing pundit. He thinks he's a journalist. Olbermann makes a differentiation between commentary (worst person, special comments), and news (the stories). And he doesn't make stuff up. I really don't agree that he's the O'Reilly of the left.

Only an idiot wouldnt be in the tank for obama!!! After 8 years repubs, yeah they want a democrat, yeah they need obama real bad, yes vs mccain lol.every non insane person, really wants obama, maybe if the country wouldnt be so downhill then it would be less obvious. If Bush did a great job running the country, then maybe people would prefer repubs more. So basicly bush drives people to obama, so dont complain about that!

xVin89x, he only tenda to attack O'Reilly during the "Worst Person" segment of his show. You only see that part on youtube but a whole show comes before it. Also on the "cheap shots" you mean pointing out bigoted and insensitive hate speech and direct lies, then yes he "takes cheap shots".

I can't help it, I still like Olbermann! But to give him credit, he has law professors on his show that talk about the dangers of some of the legislation that's passed eroding our civil liberties. Obama got criticized for voting for passage of the FISA bill. |
