Trains Running through marks tey and witham but due to speed restrictions at marks Tey caused by a freight train derailing 6 weeks previous and the restriction hadnt been lifted so we went to witham hoping to get them at speed and we did and no freight im afraid it was a saturday not a very good day for it on GEML

it wasnt a bad one but i was on work experience when it happened and there were 1 hour delays yer i remember tht 1 just outside ely

Was there another freight train derailed? I knew about the one in the Bury St. Edmunds area, I know about that because last summer it took 3 hours to go from Peterborough to Ipswich via Norwich!
