It should be completely dry or it may not burn. Wash it with acetone if you want it to dry faster.

I had a bad synthesis with Nitrocellulose. I wonder what went wrong, the cotton fails to deflagerate even after letting it dry for 4 hours.

You can buy small bricks of red phosphorus from hardware stores, they are covered in wood crap and are used as fire starters. Dont rely on the anarchists cook book. most of it is unreliable information from people who havnt done any of it themselves and is shit thats likely to get you fucked up or killed.

na i use a match box to make my armstrongs mix.you can make it easily useing many different methos and you may be able to buy it from a gerden shop here are soe names KCIO3, Muriate of Potash, potassium chloride,potassium muriate.also get lime wire and download the anarchy cook book its probably got heaps of things you might want to know

Do you use KCLO4? if so, where do you get it? the best oxidiser i can get is KNO3.

i was thinking about doing that except with armstrongs mix (put black powder tith corn starch, make a casing, put the armstrongs mix in and then close the casing and let it dry)
