I agree... putting your life on the line when dealing with irrational people in their cars is dangerous. Although, I would have difficulty not doing the same thing. :) Can't stand jerks like that.

If they shove you they are braking Section 59 of the Road Traffic Act and if reported to the police their car could be confiscated. Vehicles aren't supposed to be 'distress' or 'alarm' the road user. Next time get his Reg No..if you can.

After the lights, there is a ramp to access the cycle lane by crossing the slip road. If you don`t want to use the facility, then expect to be harassed by motoists when you ride far out in the carriageway. So when the lights changed, you then cut across in front the car. Nothing like inflaming the situation when you`ve got a camera running. Again I ask, why do you inflame the situation for the sympathy vote.

So rude people think it's ok to run into a cyclist because there is a bike lane nearby? I hope you turned the info over to the police.

There was a toucan crossing on the left at 1st set of lights. THATS WHERE U SHOULD ENTRE.

Rude cyclist with a camera out to prove himself wrong. NEXT TIME use the CYCLE LANE that was provided by tax payers and dont obstruct traffic just so u can give out at ur own mistake.

You make the point that there's no entrance but at the end when you can enter, you don't. What's your problem?
happycyclist2k8 (December 31, 1969 at 11:59 pm)
Fair question, I suppose...There's no "entrance" to the lane, so I'd have had to dismount and lift the bike into the lane. All for 400 metres of bike lane?? And then the extra inconvenience of getting out of the bike lane. There is plenty of space on the road for everyone, the driver just needed to have some patience... what was he racing for... to sit for longer at the traffic lights !
HardNite42 (December 31, 1969 at 11:59 pm)
Two possible reasons:1. There's no available entrance to it without kerb hopping.2. There's nothing to say he has to.To me the question is academic anyway. The driver sees an 'obstruction' and decides to use a ton of metal and risk a life to enforce his bigotted attitude.

You seem to be obsessed with the whole gay thing. I realized I don't find men attractive the first time I watched two sweaty men rolling around groping each other during a pro wrestling match. Thanks to that guy you voted for I feel pretty thankful for my job which is slightly better than flipping (not flipin) burgers. I spend my spare time in your mothers bedroom not my moms basement. Oh, I almost forgot, stop watching Fox News and stop having sex with your sister. |
