In defense of the pianist (as Caeli's regular accompanist, not the one in this performance), I have to point out that (a) this sonata is a duo in conception, like so much of the greatest violin and piano repertory, and (b) to my ear, Caeli is doing just fine at projecting the violin part and the texture is good Brahms playing all round.

Nice job. I also really love this piece. The only problem I see seems to be the fact that the piano overpowers a bit too much your violin.
