I hate Blue Shells when they are used against me. In the old games, human players would get hit by Blue Shells only when playing 150cc or Mirror mode. From "Mario Kart DS" and on, you will get hit by a Blue Shell no matter the engine class. That Stinks!! :(

Ah, it's like that playing the actual game too. There's a weird black fog in SNES Ghost Valley 2 that prevents you from seeing too far. As I never had Super Mario Kart, I had to rely on the map to know where I was going for the first week or so I had this game. Mirror Mode still trips me up.

I meant, you can't see much.

Man at the begging of the race that player you were racing against held onto the lead for a long time lucky you caught up.

I've traditionally been the other way around. I'm an average driver with Mario Kart, but I can slow people down with items very well.

LOL this W33D guy plays similarly to me. I'm not really that good with items, but have beaten like 25 of the expert staff ghosts on time trial... Daisy with the Mach Bike, best combo ever!

Actually, not now...Weird huh?

I get the feeling that Blue Shells become more common the wider the lead is between 1st and 2nd, since this W33D guy zoomed away in nearly every race and I saw multiple Blue Shells hapen nearly every time. |
