Yellow lines are slippery, especially in rain. I avoid them! White lines are even worse.

I've got a Ninja 250.. still breaking it in. what are your thoughts on the yellow road lines? are they slippery? i saw one of these dudes riding along it for one of the turns, and i cringed.

You don't want your arm to lock, but you'll be pretty close. The Ninja is actually a very easy bike to ride fast. On a race bike, the handle bar is lower than the tank, so you're actually reaching up, over and then back down to the grip.

Ok, I see what you are saying now. I usually just try to "kiss the mirror", but I will give the arm lock and idea and let you know what the outcome is. Is this going to be more difficult on a 250 because of it's size and bar positioning? Unfortunately, I won't be able to ride for about 3 weeks.

Minisupermoto? Sweet! I'd love to see that.I'm only wearing the bottom edges, i flipped the slider around at one point so I wouldn't mess up my leathers.

guy on the 250 is the manwhoever showed the camera their kneepuck...how did they just wear the top and bottom edges???? I race minisupermoto and have never seen anything like that

My point was that you don't hang off much at all. I see it all the time in certain riders. What kind of riders? The guys who ride their supersports on the street, then come to my track school and think they can ride because they've touched a knee.In reality, what they (And you) are doing is counter-productive. You've moved your hips way off the seat, but your upper body hasn't moved at all.I have a Ninja250 with MT75's for instruction. |
