Mega Man 9, known as Rockman 9: The Ambition's Revival!! (ロックマン9 野望の復活!!, Rokkuman Nain Yabō no Fukkatsu) in Japan, is an upcoming video game by Capcom. It is the latest game in the original Mega Man series, and the first numbered entry since 1997's Mega Man 8. Its existence was first hinted through the Australian OFLC ratings board, which listed the title on the site and classified it as multi-platform. Official details were first confirmed via Nintendo Power, revealing that the title will be appearing on the Wii's WiiWare service. It was initially slated "for WiiWare only", with earlier reports of Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network versions being confirmed as false, according to Capcom. However, gaming site IGN.com later confirmed it would be coming out for PSN and XBLA, and has since been reconfirmed by Capcom of America on July 15 (although the Japanese site for the game still only lists it for Wiiware in that territory). The Plot:Mega Man's creator Dr. Light is blamed for a robotic rampage and Dr. Wily himself has no apparent connection to it (even showing a video of Dr. Light declaring world domination and Dr. Wily refusing to follow him), announcing that he needs donations to complete the robots he created to combat those of Dr. Light. Mega Man must fight to prove his creator's innocence and expose Wily's true intentions.Like most games in the series, Mega Man will face eight new Robot Masters. This lineup includes the first ever female antagonistic Robot Master in the original series, as well as a Robot Master (Concrete Man) whose design is reminiscent of Guts Man, one of the original series' most recurring Robot Masters.Magma Man Galaxy Man Jewel Man Concrete Man Hornet Man Plug Man Tornado Man Splash Woman enjoy :)

I'm looking forward to it, but truthfully I am a bit shocked they went way back to being classic. Like I knida of thought that if they ever did come out with a megaman 9 it would look kind of how 8 looked as far as graphics and gameplay go. But cool nonetheless

I like how they know what the fans want.

megaman x is cool too. both have their pros and cons.hope they'll tell how the story continues, like what happened to megaman and the others.

This looks like fun! I am so happy they bring the old classic Mega Man back. I've missed it so much! Thank you for uploading this.

The old classics were the best, not that stupid Mega Man X crap. MMX isn't at all good, or original. "Betterment" my a**. The new "versions" of Mega Man sucks.

Personally I don't see Mega Man as a progressing game. At least not the classic series. It was my passion when I was younger, but once it got off the NES I just kinda stopped playing it. I think that happened with a lot of people. Sure I have MM7 and MM8, but they're just not as good. Mega Man looked and played best in 8-bit, so how is he progressing anyway if he's anything else. Plus this game will bring back the old school fans like myself and will most likely sell REALLY really well.

yeah maybe i did go to overboard with the graphics i should always consider the quality and the chepness too :)
