This fightscene is exactly like The Myth fightscene where Jackie fight an army, the same way as Donnie fight his army.

CheetahChampyon,Sammo Hung was recently in Fatal Move with Wu Jing.I have uploaded the end fight scene between them.The film was ok for a triad movie.But I hate triad movies & modern Hong Kong action movies (except may for SPL and Flash Point) as there's not enough kung fu in them. I like kung fu movies from the 1970s & early 1980s,especially ones made by Shaw Brothers. Check out the fight clips and end fight I have just uploaded for Two Champions Of Shaolin with the venoms mob and Chin Siu Ho.

hk, i ain't mean to be harsh.it's just donnie is at his prime and he just is not promoting chinese kung fu the way he should.i forgot about him playing yip. i saw that on monkeypeaches a little while ago.they had the one sheet with him standing there with the long staff.you're right. sammo has just been a name in the films he's been in recently.it is really time for wu jing to take over.he was excellent in that film that came after SPL. i think it was called fatal something

sowutifmahsnsux, I know what you mean about Kelly Chen stabbing the bad guy through the neck with the spear whilst she's pinned to the ground. The same thought crossed my mind too. I have just tried it and its not physically possible.

at first i was discouraged from seeing this movie, thinking it might be just another chinese war epic, but after seeing how donnie incorporated some grappling, that was fucking cool. hmm but something about the way the chick stabs the bad dude in the neck doesnt work for me. like the length on the pole, her being flat on her stomach, and the angle at which shes able to strike him. i'll have to physically try to mimic that. just a random thought dont mind me...

CheetahChampyon, I merely uploaded this clip so that people can see Donnie Yen's latest movie and not because I think the kung fu is great here. I have already uploaded clips from the Odd Couple and Shaolin Intruders so please check them out (do a search for them on my youtube channel). If you hate this film you're gonna hate Three Kingdoms: Resurrection Of The Dragon with Andy Lau and Sammo Hung as its very similar in terms of lack of nice kung fu and too much computer effects. |
