The only Mac computer I can praise is the MacBook Pro 15"4. (Come on 8600m gt? That's a POS gfx on a 17") I have {had} the Intel CD 1.83ghz which I gamed on (because of the X1600 vs X1400 gpu), and even with that laptop I had one big complain whilst gaming on Windows (OSX was ignored, only used it to type reports 0.0)-- underclocked GPU (WTF!?!). Ayt, and what else can I say -- the rest of the computers are all bollocks. You know, remember that garbage tin computer MBAS's computer owned. :D

as for macbook pro and mac pro, how much less is a comparable oem pc like those? what constitutes 'real computing', then? are most oem pc's designed with the computer tech in mind? since oem pcs are virtually all of the pc marketshare, i figure that it's the most important, right?

Yea the mac pro and macbook pro are the only mac computers that don't suck, and look how much they cost. And audio and video has nothing to do with real computing, and wow King Kong 1 movie. You guys wear that shit like a badge of honor. And you know good and damn well that Apple's target audience for their computers, are creative types and people who aren't good at computers.
