Bittern & Canadian Pacific top and tail a 15 min late passenger train across the Alps. Why? Has one of them broken down? Who is playing the bongo drums while 73096 is taking on water? What happens next? Filmed 15/5/08 at Ropley on the Mid Hants Railway (MHR) - also known as The Hampshire Alps and the Watercress Line.

The bongos are bitterns airpump which is situated between the frames.

Bittern had just arrived back from mainline duties and was put on the back of cp's train due to pathing difficulties as three trains were in service. CP is running tender first, however, Bittern is engine first and was detached from the train at Ropley.
