I don't consider it tasteless, I consider it funny. If you thought this bit was tasteless then you'd probably not be fond of Bill's stuff in general.In my eyes Bill is to comedy what Elvis was to music. I'm sure up in heaven Charlie can give both Bill and Elvis some scarves and water. :)

And charlie passed away of lung cancer in 2006. guess they can duke it out up there. its still tasteless. Maybe it shouldnt have been posted in the first place.

Bill Hicks is a comedian and I'm sure was just making fun of Charlie Hodge's role as outlined by Elvis.He passed away incidentally of pancreatic cancer in 1994.

A quote by J.D. Sumner which is recorded on video, "Charlie Hodge was THE most important person in the Elvis Presley Show, next to Elvis, of course". Of course I am sure Bill Hicks doesnt have a clue who J.D. Sumner is either. But like I say, Mr. Hicks neglected to do his homework and put his ignorance on display for all to see. Bill Hicks ... a real classy guy who hasnt done his homework. Picking on a guy who was a huge asset to the Elvis Presley Show for over 17 years. Mr Hicks neglects to mention that Charlie Hodge was Elvis' stage director and was in charge of laying out all of the shows in Las Vegas and on tour, and was responsible for picking out music for elvis to perform on stage and to record. And also was chosen by elvis himself to do duets with him on several recordings over the years.
