Very unique engine! I'm trying to get one video of it out on the road with a train before it heads back later this month.

"it's been modified by EMD which is a 710ECO engine."That didn't make sense, did it? I love commenting during a migraine attack. Anyways what I meant was"It was remanufactured by EMD _WITH_ a 710ECO engine.

sorry, correction noted.

It's diesel powered, not biofuel powered, it's been modified by EMD which is a 710ECO engine. They come in a 2,000HP 8-cyl version and a 3,100 HP V12. The 710ECO engine is a Tier-2 certified engine designed for retrofit into older locomotives, to make them Tier-2 compliant (and more fuel efficient).

It's actually a Tier-2 8-cylinder 710G3C engine.

Green powered eh? It's a real shame that biofuel is being peddled so much. In theory it's a great idea but irl it takes a huge chuck out of crops and in turn raises food prices |
