In the manga it said that kenpachi uses his full strength only when he is holding his sword with two hands. Also even though kenpachi said Ichigo beat him, if you watch the video you will know that Ichigo faints before Kempachi and I THINK (personal opinion) that Zaraki could have killed Ichigo in the 5 seconds he was standing up even with a broken sword, therefore winning.

byakuya really didn't need his bankai against the 7th. his shikai was enough against him. he was winning against the espada before and after he released without bankai with his left arm and leg.

The only way to look at ichigo beating kenpachi was that ichigo was using the full power of his sword and his on energy and the kenchapi's power and his sword power conflict which may weaken him. or some bs like that

Ichigo vs. Kempachi was a big mistake. I mean, they had the same strenght in the begining when Ichigo was using shikai, Ichigo with bankai and hollow mask barely won against 6th espada, and in manga Kenpachi defeated 5th espada?! Its impossible for Kempachi to get so powerful without even shikai.Soi Fon against Ichigo? I dont know cuz didnt see SoiFons bankai, but with mask I think Ichigo would win.

This arc is getting a bit better now that they're in soul society also it helps that the design of characters doesn't detiorate too much if you don't know what I mean watch one episode in the soul society arc then watch one episode in the bount-assault arc there's a terribe detoriation of design in the bount-assault arc. One test you could do is compare rukia's design from both |
