I would like for my people who believe to not label people who believe aliens exist, and people who have admitted that they've seen aliens as crazy. They've never seen aliens before, and we've never seen God before.

It all boils down to fear. Fear of death. A person of faith has invested the totality of their life in the concept of a deity and the promise of an afterlife. When anyone presents a countering view, that view is a threat to the believer's desired afterlife. To a believer, expressions of non-belief are tantamount to walking across their future graves with great disrespect. Believers find that intolerable and resort to artifice, duplicity and violence to maintain their belief.

Actually the Old and New Testaments are completely different. They are both bibles(respective collections of religious writings) filled with many books, which are all different.

Religion is control, capitalism at its best.Doesn't matter if you're talking about the the Greeks and Zeus, The wealth of the Vatican,Africans and female circumcises, Aztecs and their volcanoes, Joe Lieberman creepin around the evangelist to get donations for Israel. Or those freaks in Texas breeding little girls to molest and calling it polygamy. Religion has been the excuse for wicked people to do wicked things. Good luck getting the "Believers" to own letting this shit go down.
