Demo of the new effects in Gnome desktop. Note that the start-up notification is very nice and does not depend on compiz or any 3D acceleration, all is needed is composition manager (like metacity). Note also that the DnD objects have alpha that is used again by all composition managers, so any opacity settings from compiz should go.Note also that the panel has very smooth animation.
