However, it's really not as bad as that One Piece example. I mean, if you were sinking to your doom, would you shout out toilet puns? And what kind of evil overlord who rules one of the most powerful crime syndicates calls his victim something like "desert doo-doo"?

Oh, that's nothing. In One Piece, Zoro/Zolo was originally tied to a cross-shaped post, but in the 4Kids version, they removed the top of it, and in doing so, they erased part of Luffy's hat in one scene xDDD.But the point is, they're about to enter something that could end their lives, and Stella's making jokes about swimsuits. Not really the kind of time for that xDD.Next comment.

yeah we all know what stella is like but i,m like that in real life lol 4 kids have made worse screw ups. They trashed Tokyo mew mew. They even changed zakuro's weapon from a cross to a stick when shes like exposed to be religious and stuff.

Yeah, 4Kids usually don't blatantly refer to it like that even if they do joke. I mean, they NEVER did it on One Piece, which is probably their most criticized dub and probably their most out of character dub with the most jokes and stuff (search for "One Piece: Worst Dub Moment 7" to see what I mean).But then that GX episode turns up where Adrian talks about "Bad dialogue" and now this. Is 4Kids using self-referential humor now?For some GX examples, watch that video this is a response to.
