Ch.6*As I was getting changed *alone* in my closet I looked around, nothing! I checked the upstairs bathroom, nothing, then finally I checked the ground level bathroom, yes my ticket out of here! The next day, around dinner time I made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, this could last me a day or so! I pretended to eat it and stuffed it in my pocket, in a few minutes I went into the bathroom and went to the bathroom. When I flushed instead of going out I quietly locked the door and snuck out through the air vent. As I reached another room and found my way to the front door I ran to my secret hiding spot. I found it in the wood, the little shed I had found three days earlier*Tess: Finally free at last!*Over the next couple of hours I heard them yelling my name*Nick: TESS!Joe: COME ON TESS!Kevin: YOU’RE NOT GOING TO BE IN TROUBLE IF YOU COME OUT NOW! Tess: *muttering* that is the oldest trick in the book; everyone knows that when you turn yourself in you always get in trouble, even when they do say that.Joe: COME ON TESS! WE GIVE UP! YOU CAN COME OUT!*Soon the shouting stopped a couple of times they passed the shed or came very close to it. Once Joe even peeked through the dirty old window, but I had picketed a good day to wear black so he didn’t see me, the sky grew dark and after eating my sandwich I fell asleep. I woke up to feel my phone buzzing, I had put it on vibrate…*Tess: Hello?Joe: Where are you?Tess: SomewhereJoe: Come on Tess, just a hint!Tess: Nope, I like being by myself!Joe: Seriously, if you don’t get back here right now we are going to call the police!Tess: How about if I come out of my hiding spot and just walk around and when you catch me then I will go back!Joe: Why?Tess: It makes it more fun for me!Joe: Fine!*I hung up the phone and left the shed. Then I walk back on the road and started walking, it was ten minutes and when I got in front of the hill by our house I heard someone scream*Joe: Over here!*Just like last time I ran up the hill but this time I made it down the hill and ran to a field, I tripped in the grass and Joe found me; he was alone*Joe: Caught you *he leaned down and kissed me**I hugged Joe and started to cry, we kissed some more and then when I finished crying we started to walk back to the house holding hands*
