the janitor was originally supposed to be a character that ONLY JD can see. This is in case they needed to end the show quickly if the ratings weren't high for scrubs. The Janitor was supposed to be an imagination. Therefore by the end of the second season they knew SCRUBS, was going to be a good sicome that draws in ratings so they gave Neil Flynn (the janitor) more of a backstory.

yh and i like that they started to give him a proper character other than his mean self in season 1 and 2 even though in season 2 his character accutally might start to creat but it doesn't really work until 3rd season when we learn more about him in that seson and the others i also like how he makes a lot of friends in the seasons too soz totally gone of the subject there. anyway by oh and plz if u have a chance cheak out my page

it was really just a bully thing from the first season after that penny in the door convosation and the janitor finding one in there. BTW that line that the janitor saids at the end of the first ever episode "i'm watching you" was a line that was made up by neil flynn. ekk this comment is a bit long soz but anyway to answer your queston the janitor h8s J.D because of a penny in the door. |
