Evil brambles, branches, trees and nettles sent from the devil himself all knotted together to a height in excess of 12 foot in places. Riddings Brook Flood Group enrols the services of Wild Bill Hook to thwack a path to get to the culvert screen, that drops 5-6 foot into a chamber. The chamber leads off to a large culvert pipe that runs to the footpath, down under the viaduct and opens back into a lovely strect of Riddings Brook. Once it was found, it was realised the water level was some 2 foot higher than it should of been as the screen was blocked completely, it was very difficult to even locate. Once clear the results were spectacular !
