The only problem i have with using this method is that when some gets shot, there isn't a flash where the bullet hits them. Its a good effect for the smoke and everything else. Good job!

I used this technique once aswell. I liked the look, but the smoke from the fuse kinda distracted(which wasn't a big deal cuz it was just a test, but for real filming, that would be bad) One thing I found useful, was to where ear plugs. It helps keep the ear ringing down. I'm working on a way to make a cheap electric igniter for a firecracker, for precise timing and no smoke LOL.
