yeah, i just came from the pitch and i also took fk at 16-20m and took a short run up! then tried it with long run up... and i really think it's easier to aim with a short run up :)

don't take long run ups than necessary is my comment :P... you're great, btw check my comments at your other tutorials too!

btw, I got one tip for fk specialists like you cd7cr: when the distance is about 21 meters or further you could take a long run up for more power, but if you got a fk close, you should make your run up shorter (preferably 1 step), which Beckham doesn't do, but that's just my suggestion. You have more control of your aim, because you concentrate more on your shooting movement than your run up movement. This is the reason why Beckham sometimes let Gerrard take the fks at Eng Team when fk is 16-18m

well of course I know how I put topspin in to the ball, just to let you know how you can make your tutorial better :P. My style of free kick taking is also like Beckham, but my run up is shorter, my balls are some weaker but I can curl it more accurate and get more topspin into it. |
