Thats what I thought, bugs per say, until my friend, who owned many KTM bikes, reminded me that the RC8 engine is the same engine in several of their models, its the LC8 with different bore mainly and also gave me the "KTM, PowerParts 2008" which for accessories, there are tons of aftermarket KTM genuine parts and goodies, I would buy it if i ware you

Its not so much the MV isn't able to come across, its just rated very highly by every review but their arent the same quantity as other bikes. And I know Honda has a reputation and it stands up to everything I've ever put every one through. If you could explain about the MV it would definitely help as $25k-$120k on a bike is quite a bit. THANKS!

Thats definitely good to know. What problems/risks are you referring to? Its hard for me to find information on the MV as they are not readily accessible like the Jap bikes, and its very hard to come across people who own them. I did see the new KTM but I am not a V-twin fan except the RC51, & I did get some solid info on the KTM that it has a very rough ride unless its being thrashed, as my riding varies from cruising to track days. Also it is KTMs 1st commercial bike which leaves room for bugs

it's the uk.hardly baking sunshine 24 hours a day but the heat is intolerable when the bike gets over 60 degrees.why is it so bloody hot?i'm getting really disillusioned because i can't enjoy the ride for the freakin radiator type heat thats rising from between my legs(pardon the pun).

Stay away from the MV, I am very familiar with MV problems and risks... I'd recommend the new KTM-RC8, check out the new themes, it is as light as 08-blade and the weight is also centralized like Honda and it has a stubby face like Honda... with the advantages of V-twin 1190cc... they say its one of a kind.

In no way am I knocking MV over Honda, but the MV was not a friendly bike unless you have the ability to appreciate it on the track regularly, as I noticed anything other than wringing its neck is harsh, especially slower around town stuff. However, I do plan on getting an MV later this year so I can have the best of both worlds I guess lol. Nevertheless, great choice of bike, man! I've owned 7 Hondas-quads, dirt bikes, street bikes and cars, and they are the best & most reliable bar none.

Best bike to date!! Just got mine a little over 2 weeks ago, but had to go with the Red/Black scheme. I guess Black/White is not available in the US. Either way, this bike is perfect in every aspect. Your exhaust sounds amazing on this bike, too. I'm ordering one this week, but between Akrapovic and Laser. Micron is no more and I had that on my F4i, and it was incredible. Keep the vids coming! I will eventually make some lol. Great choice

The best bike to date!! I just bought mine a little over 2 weeks ago, but I decided to go with the red/black. Supposedly they do not have the white and black paint scheme available in the US. That exhaust sounds perfect, too. Can't wait until it's broken in and able to be ridden the way it was meant to be. I was going to get a 2007 MV Agusta F4, but after riding this bike, the Honda is practically perfect. You either love or loathe the looks of it.
