Let me know if you want to be part of it![Kevin got Sheryll into the car and they rushed off to the venue—she made it just in time]SHERYLL: [Smiling] Thanks so much, Kevin.KEVIN: Break a leg.[Sheryll went up to Kevin and hugged him before she left to change backstage. Kevin didn't know what to make of the hug, but it made him feel good. He walked to his seat, his heart beating contentedly][The show went without smoothly and Sheryll looked fabulous in her dress. She flashed him a smile every time she got to the end of the runway. When the show ended, and all the girls lined up on stage, Kevin eye's were only on Sheryll. At the end of the show, Sheryll had to stay for a few interviews. Kevin waited for her at the edge of the crowd. The moment she was free she ran to Kevin and put her arms around him]SHERYLL: How was I?KEVIN: You were the most beautiful girl on that runway.[Sheryll's smile seemed to add more light to the room]KEVIN: Let's get out of here.[Kevin took Sheryll by the hand]SHERYLL: Where are we going?KEVIN: After all that walking, you must be hungry.[Sheryll rolled her eyes at him as she got into the limo][It was too late for dinner, but they managed to find an open restaurant]SHERYLL: The dress I was supposed to wear didn't make it. So I wore an alternateKEVIN: Really?SHERYLL: Yeah, but I wasn't sure if it would look good on me.KEVIN: I think it turned out great on you.[Sheryll looked down to hide her blushing cheeks]SHERYLL: So...KEVIN: So what?SHERYLL: Never mind.KEVIN: Tell me.[She changed her mind and decided to ask something else]SHERYLL: Well, I've only got a photo shoot to go to tomorrow. Did you want to go sightseeing after?KEVIN: [Smiling] Of course.[What Sheryll really wanted to know was if Joe had called, but she didn't have to ask. Her phone rang as she and Kevin headed to the hotel]SHERYLL: Hi Joe! Yeah, we're ok. I miss you.[Kevin pretended not to be paying attention to her conversation with his brother. He focused on getting them into the limo]SHERYLL: We just got out of a restaurant and we're headed back to the hotel... How's everything there?... At least you're fans will be happy... Don't worry about me, Joe. I'm with Kevin.[She didn't know if that would reassure Joe, though]SHERYLL: Ok. I'll see you in a few days... I love you, too.[She noticed her voice was the only thing that kept the silence away in the car. She didn't know if Kevin was waiting for her to talk again or if he was busy thinking, so she just stared out the window for the rest of the ride. Kevin was by her side again, as they walked into the hotel and up to her room. She paused in front of the door]KEVIN: Goodnight.SHERYLL: Goodnight, Kevin.[He walked away before she could say anything else][The next morning, Sheryll woke up confused about Kevin and the teetering relationship they shared. What was Kevin to her? Couldn't there be another explanation for the laughs and the playful hugs they shared? Sheryll met with Kevin at the limo, then they headed to her photo shoot][When the photographer shook her hand, she realized that she had gone through the whole photo shoot, her mind too busy to comprehend where and what she was doing]KEVIN: Ready to go?SHERYLL: Umm, yeah.[Kevin led Sheryll out of the building, but instead of getting into another car, they started walking down the street]SHERYLL: Where are we going?KEVIN: Sightseeing, right?[A smile crossed his face as he turned to her. He pointed out their destination]SHERYLL: The Eiffel Tower.KEVIN: People say you can get a pretty good view at the top.[They took the elevator to the top, looking through the glass wall down to the city as they climbed higher and higher. They stepped out of the elevator in a hurry to see over the edge of the tower]KEVIN: We're so high up!SHERYLL: [Smiling] I think I want to live here.[A gust of wind sent shivers down Sheryll's body. Without thinking, Kevin put his arm around her to shield her from the cold wind. Sheryll looked up at Kevin and he was watching her reaction. Their faces were so close—too close. Sheryll wanted to look away, because everything about this was wrong, but Kevin's eyes held her as their lips came closer. Sheryll's mind told her to pull away, but her body wasn't responding. When their lips touched, they were both surprised to find that nothing happened. They pulled away a little surprised]KEVIN: Did you—SHERYLL: Feel anything? No.KEVIN: [Smiling] Me neither.[Sheryll realized what Kevin was in her life. She loved him like a brother, and he would soon be exactly that. Sheryll looked over the city, smiling. Kevin's arm stayed warm around her]
