This song is not that sad, at least after playing the game. Lost... Broken Shards is much sadder, the same with Shattering the Egg of Dreams. This song is still beautiful, though.

Song to me isn't sad, but I never played the game. However I do have the Xenogears soundtrack and this is my fave song off of it.

I never really considered this a sad song necessarily. Slightly bittersweet maybe, but not sad. Great song though.
