Cont' Calls will go out to reduce military spending and as usual the politicians will get on the band wagon for this as it will be very popular. A few years after, Veteran programs, and veteran medical care programs will be quietly dropped and you won't hear a peep from the anti war groups. Been there, saw it after Vietnam. And they will all be congradulating each other as well.

I wish that were true but too often it is tied to getting a particulair politician in office. When I tell them " I believe every politician who voted for this war should never be allowed to hold public office again" most reply with a "I hate the Bush/Cheney/Neoconservative agenda". When this war is over the wounded, veterans, and those with PTSD will be forgotten in the wink of an eye.
