Hello darwinx0101. The Republican party is NOT a socialist party. Never has been never will be. It is conservative. Yes at times some in the party called RINO (Republican In Name Only) mess things up for the conservative movement within the party. I am dissapointed in Bush's lack of use of his veto pen. Oh by the way it is the terrorist that the gov. is "spying" on. Not citizens. It is the democrats that want more control of the private sector business.
